Frenchie is a lilac classic tabby bicolor longhaired standard male Napoleon. He was bred, born, and raised at Creators Cattery with a date of birth being October 2009. He is co-owned by Sue Rivero from New York who has generously agreed to show Frenchie for me. Unfortunately, until the International Cat Association advances the Napoleon Breed into the Preliminary New Breed Status, we are forced to show our Napoleons in the Household Pet (HHP) category. Sue is upfront with the judges and informs them that Frenchie is a Napoleon. By showing in in HHP, it does get our breed into the hands of the judges so that they can see, feel, and experience first hand the Napoleons. Whether there are negatives in this approach or not, is to be seen. So far he has finaled in virtually every ring in all shows. All this really means is that he is being received well, making a good impression on the judges, getting cute points and interacting well with the judges. This means little else but I do feel he is a great representative of the Napoleon breed.  As in all HHP's, they have to be spayed/neutered by a certain age to continue showing because this is a HHP category unlike any demands if this was PNB or a championship class. So, alas, Frenchie will be neutered and not be able to contribute genetically to any future litters. His task at hand is to continue making a good impression to the judges and to the public at large.

Great coat in that it looks "luxurious" but it isn't as cottony as a typical Persian coat - has a silkiness to it - so it is much easier to maintain.

Great full muzzle & broad cheeks

No snubbed nose or break

"change of direction"
